Abstract

This study examines many unique and interesting languages that emerge among the pemuda groups as well as social factors that affect the development and growth of the aforementioned languages. Through qualitative methods such as observation and wawancara, this study. This study examines many unique and interesting languages that emerge among the pemuda groups as well as social factors that affect the development and growth of the aforementioned languages. Through qualitative methods such as observation and wawancara, this study identifies several linguistic examples, such as slang, code-switching, and the influence of social media. The results indicate that remaja language is not only a communication tool but also a sign of identity and solidarity. This provides important information about Jakartan social and cultural dynamics as well as the role of remaja language in fostering collective identity.
