SOCIOLINGUISTIC PHENOMENA: AN ANALYSIS OF LANGUAGE AND CULTURAL DIFFERENCES ACROSS GENDER AND GENERATIONS THROUGH CODE-SWITCHING AND CODE-MIXING

This study attempts to examine the phenomenon of code-mixing and code-switcthing in daily life. It is anticipated that this study will advance sociolinguistic research on the different kinfs of codes that exist and pinpoint the causes of these phenomena within linguistic and cultural contexts. This study employs both qualitative and quantitative (mixed)methodologies, with the former being accomplished using observational technique and the latter trough the use of unsettling questionnaires. Its goal is present descriptive results that are reinforced by statistical data. While quantitative research present absolute empericall data as study, qualitative research is carried out using literature source. All things considered, these results and the debate highlight the advantages of linguistic blend for formal and informal communication. They can employ code-mixing and code-switching to achence their interactions more successfully and formally to senior adults shows how important culture norms are to maintaining civility.
